Jade and Geometry

Many people associate jade with their mother's or grandmother’s jewellery and, as a result, often give it a miss. But the right setting and design can really bring out the enduring beauty of this gemstone. When I designed this pair of detachable jade earrings for S, both of us were certain that we did not want a traditional design, but something that was modern with a hint of classic tradition, yet practical and versatile. After several iterations of the design, I created this pair of asymmetrical, geometric earring in mixed gold, diamonds and tsavorites. The jade studs can be detached and worn either alone or with another jacket. Totally happy with it !
